Casablanca is a small jewellery studio in Delhi run by Jyotsna W. There is no catalogue. You tell us what you want, we sketch it together, and a karigar makes it by hand in laboratory-grown diamonds or natural coloured stones. Every piece is hallmarked, certified, and ours to look after for as long as you own it.

Most families have gold sitting in a locker that nobody wears. Bring it to us. We weigh it in front of you, agree a design, melt it down and remake it, set with laboratory-grown diamonds if you like. The value of your gold comes off the price.

Nothing here is stocked. Each piece is worked out between you, Jyotsna and the karigar who will make it. This is how that usually goes.
We talk
What it’s for, roughly what you’d like to spend, whether you want a diamond or a coloured stone, and the metal you actually wear. At the studio over chai, at your home in NCR, or on a video call.
We sketch and pick stones
You’ll see loose stones under a loupe and a pencil sketch of the piece. Nothing is cast until you’re happy with both.
We make it, certify it and bring it to you
Made by hand, hallmarked and IGI-certified. Jyotsna delivers in Delhi NCR herself; elsewhere in India it comes by insured courier.

The paperwork, and the promises.
- BIS hallmark
- Every gold piece carries a six-digit HUID, stamped at a BIS-recognised assaying centre in Delhi.
- IGI certificate
- Any centre stone of 0.30 ct or more comes with an IGI report, its number laser-inscribed on the girdle. The report says how the stone was grown.
- Lifetime exchange
- Exchange at 100% of the diamond value or buy-back at 80%, for as long as you own it. It’s written on your invoice.
- Looked after
- Bring it in once a year and we’ll clean it and check the prongs, free. Resizing in the first year is free too.
We say laboratory-grown diamond in full because that is what Indian Standard IS 19469:2025 asks for. Ours are grown by CVD or HPHT, and we’ll tell you which. The coloured stones and polki are natural; a laboratory report is available on request.
It started with pieces for friends.
I began with coloured stones — rubies, emeralds, tourmaline, polki — made the way the old Delhi workshops make them, for friends who wanted something they couldn’t find in a shop. The diamonds came later. A friend wanted a two-carat stone and had been told, kindly, that she couldn’t afford one. A laboratory-grown stone got her the ring she wanted, and word went round the way it does in Delhi.
That is still how Casablanca works. One conversation at a time, one piece at a time, made by the same karigar. I don’t keep a catalogue and I won’t push you. If a piece isn’t right, we don’t make it.
The collection.
Nothing here is in stock. The gemstone and polki pieces are ours, photographed as they were made for their owners, and can be remade around your stones. The laboratory-grown pieces are made to order in 15–21 working days.
